LG Dare VX9700

LG's Dare is the greatest multimedia phone that Verizon Wireless has ever released, and it's certainly the most fun to use.

Fun, easy-to-use interface. Top-notch media player. Good Web browser. Excellent camera and video modes. Stellar battery life—one of the longest we've seen for a Verizon phone.

No PIM synchronization with PCs. ; Watch the LG Dare VX9700 Video Review!

Entering data is as easy as it can get on a touch screen phone. You've got a virtual phone keypad for predictive text, a QWERTY keyboard with iPhone-style pop-up letters and even a handwriting recognizer. The keyboards switch orientation automatically...

Turn on the Dare and you'll find unusual animated wallpaper where little cartoonish figures do amusing things (if you don't find it entertaining, you can change it). Tap one of the menu buttons along the bottom of the screen, and you're dropped into a...

LG Dare (Verizon Wireless) review: LG Dare (Verizon Wireless)

LG Dare (Verizon Wireless)

The LG Dare has an intuitive touch-screen interface, an advanced 3.2-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser, EV-DO Rev. A, and plenty of other powerful features. It also has excellent call quality.

The LG Dare's touch interface has a slight learning curve, and we weren't too pleased with the handwriting interface. Also, the Web browsing experience was quite disappointing.

The LG Dare is an innovative and feature-rich handset, with several surprises that set it apart from other touch-screen phones.

LG Dare

While the LG Dare doesn't look like what you'd expect a cell phone to look like, it definitely lives up to its name. This cell phone dares to look different without sacrificing on functionality and usability. It has all the high-end features you'd...

LG Dare VX9700

The LG Dare is a streamlined touch screen device with a robust user interface. It is a sleek, non-smartphone alternative that relies solely on its interface rather than a slide-out Qwerty or other such secondary input method. The outer shell is...

LG Dare Cell Phone

Since Apple led the way when it came to touch screen cell phones, many other companies followed. The newest touch screen phone from LG, the Dare, dares to take things to another level when it comes to the touch screen cell phone arena. The LG Dare is a...

Do not let its rather small size fool you; the phone is built solidly and feels good in your hands. Its structure is dominated mostly by its three-inch display, which is appropriate, since it is after all a touch screen phone. The LG Dare's smaller...

LG Dare Review

The LG Dare is a touch screen smartphone out to join the emerging brawl for dominance in the next big wave of cellular phone technology. Led by Apple's revolutionary iPhone, the fanciest of high-end phones must now engage touch screen technology head on

The touch screen takes a little getting used to. With a high-end 3.2-megapixel camera, multimedia capabilities, and other standard features of today's high-end products, the LG Dare bursts onto the scene as a state-of-the-art addition to the world of...
