Despite its tenuous future, Research In Motion is sticking to its guns and pumping out handsets.
The BlackBerry Curve 9310 has an excellent keyboard, great audio quality, and convenient shortcut keys.
The Curve 9310 sports the same aged look as previous Curve devices, its camera quality is mediocre, and it's missing a lot of key features of BlackBerry 7.1 OS.
The BlackBerry Curve 9310 is still the same ho-hum handset you can expect from RIM, but for a $50 BlackBerry (with contract), it's reliable and makes texting a breeze.

The ultra low-end BlackBerry Curve 9310 smartphone makes sense on Boost Mobile, with its inexpensive, unlimited calling and texting plan.
Small and light. Great keyboard. Wonderfully inexpensive Boost Mobile data plan.
Low-res screen. Slow data speeds. Few good apps available.
Apps and Conclusions A speedy (for this application) 800MHz processor is on board, along with BlackBerry OS 7.1. The Curve 9310 is fairly simple to navigate, with a clear layout, a sluggish stock Web browser, and enough basic apps to keep you busy....

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 9310 may be a brand new phone on Verizon Wireless, but it's a relic of an earlier time.
Excellent hardware keyboard. Small and light. Good battery life.
Very low-res screen. No 4G. Sluggish browser. No video chats. Poor rear camera. Standard-definition video recording only. BlackBerry OS 7 is on its deathbed. Expensive monthly plans mean you can't use it as cheap texting phone.
Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions BlackBerrys were good music players back when few other phones were, and that continues here. (Back then, DRM was still a problem, so not as many people used their phones as music players as they do now.) The microSD...

Following in the footsteps of the BlackBerry Curve 9330 from two years ago comes the new BlackBerry Curve 9310, available from Verizon Wireless for $49 with a 2-year contract. There really isn't anything inspiring on the new model, but the low price is...
Low Price ; Good call quality
Poor camera quality ; Outdated user interface ; Small display
The most attractive aspect of the BlackBerry Curve 9310 is its low $49 contract price. But for the same amount, you can get an Android smartphone, such as the LG Lucid, which is capable of a lot more and can run on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. At this...

BlackBerry Curve 9310 is a device for first time smartphone users and as such, specs-wise, it is nothing worth bragging about. It features a 2.44 QVGA display (not a touchscreen), GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microSD card slot, 512MB RAM, the typical Curve...

I've had my Straight Talk Blackberry 9310 for about two weeks now and am pretty happy with it. My previous BB was a Javelin 8900 which was on a different carrier but I used it for two years. Switched to a Samsung B2710 but recently went to Straight...
If you have ever owned a Blackberry you will not be disappointed. Great battery life. $45 per month for my plan.
Supposedly BB OS 10 won't be coming to it :(. Screen isn't as sharp as my BB Curve 8900.

Stay away from both the phone and the service
worked the first 24 hours very well..
The battery will not charge. I bought this directly through Boostmobile's website. Since it died I have spent over eight hours with customer service trying to get a replacement phone. They refuse to work with me. I have filed a report with The BBB.
