LG's Z9 is the largest OLED TV you can buy. It also happens to be an 8K TV. At $40,000, and with no 8K content available, it's hard to imagine why anyone should buy this TV. But that doesn't mean it isn't worth a close look. We literally get up close...
LG's massive 8K OLED is gorgeous, but is it necessary? We think so
Avis d'expert par : Stephen Withers (techradar.com)
LG’s late arrival into the 8K TV market has provided arch-rival Samsung with a chance to establish a firm foothold, launching two ranges - the Samsung Q950R and Samsung Q900R - and a number of different screen sizes. However LG hasn’t...
Astonishing picture quality Remarkable blacks and contrast Dolby Vision and Atmos AI-enhanced smart platform Big soundstage Gorgeous design
Lacks HDR10+ support Limited HDR brightness Can’t be wall mounted Outrageously expensive
The LG OLED88Z9 is LG’s first 8K OLED TV, sporting its biggest screen to date and ensuring a suitably dramatic experience with HDR. It’s superbly specified with a comprehensive smart platform, extensive features and a big soundstage. Just don’t ask...

LG's $30,000 88-inch Signature OLED88Z9 TV is strictly for well-heeled early 8K adopters, but it's an awesome sight to behold.
Avis d'expert par : Steve Withers (pocket-lint.com)
The largest and most resolute OLED telly that LG makes happens to be an incredible viewing experience. And a pricey one, at £30k for the 88in screen!
Sublime images ; Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos ; AI-enhanced webOS ; Superb sound quality ; Gorgeous design and huge screen ; Low input lag
Seriously expensive ; No wall mount option ; No HDR10+ support ; Limited peak brightness for HDR
This stunning 8K OLED TV boasts the largest screen size to date and some of the best HDR images you’ll ever see. The benefits of 8K remain subtle, but the inclusion of cutting-edge processing and state-of-the-art smart features makes this a...

As well as the roll up (roll up) LG Signature OLED TV R, LG has also debuted the Z9 8K OLED TV here at CES 2019. It'll launch later this year. There
Brilliant picture ; Slim design ; Very latest tech
Will be super-expensive
Avis d'expert par : Brian Westover (tomsguide.com)
One of the best displays on the planet, but this ultrapremium smart TV is so cutting edge that it gets tripped up on basics.
Gorgeous OLED display ; Jaw-dropping 8K resolution ; Best webOS experience ever
Insanely expensive ; No 8K content available ; Standards and formats still not set ; Some notable display flaws
But in terms of value, you could buy our favorite 4K TV — LG's own C9 OLED — many times over. Heck, you could put a 4K OLED TV in every room in the house for the amount you might spend on just one 88-inch, 8K beast. And unlike the Z9, which promises...
Avis d'expert par : Audun Hage (lbtechreviews.com)
LG has taken its best OLED TV LG OLED88Z9, blown it up to 88 inches and sharpened the resolution to 8K. The result is, as you might expect, magical!
LG's flagship TV combines all the great qualities we know from OLED (deep black level, extreme contrast and wide viewing angle), with a giant and razor-sharp 8K image!
The price is of course stiff, and the LG OLED88Z9 does not have as bright brightness as some of the LCD competitors.
Unfortunately, it was a relatively short session with LG’s very first and largest 8K OLED TV. But the impression remains, as if burned into the retina! The combination of extreme sharpness and colossal contrast, creates an image that is “to die for”...

Fantastic picture. Elegant design. 8K. Very good 4K upconversion with AI Picture. Low input lag in Game mode.
Incredibly expensive. No consumer 8K content to watch on it.
LG's $30,000 88-inch Signature OLED88Z9 TV is strictly for well-heeled early 8K adopters, but it's an awesome sight to behold.
Avis d'expert par : Steven Cohen (hdgear.highdefdigest.com)
While I would have liked nothing more than to receive a Z9 loaner for a prolonged review, shipping an 88-inch $30,000 TV to multiple publications just isn't a feasible endeavor for any company. With that in mind, LG was kind enough to bring me out to...
Avis d'expert par (avforums.com)
LG's new 88-inch Z9 OLED 8K TV boasts all the same features found on last year's models but adds the Alpha 9 Gen 2 processor, HDMI 2.1, Amazon Alexa,...
