This screen was reliable even though we were praying that it wouldn't be because we had the three year warranty. The TV goes out of focus every now and again. The picture has become quite fuzzy now. Its viewing angles are very narrow. This is not so...

Reliable, stylish for the money

Poor picture quality. Very narrow viewing angles especially vertically, susceptible to dust. Cheap feel to the buttons

We bought one of these new with a 12 month warrenty, and it packed up after 2-3 weeks after the cooling oil leaked out. It was repaired under warrenty, and worked for another 14 months until the same thing happened again.Ripped off.

Samsung really needs to get its act together on this .!

From a technical view -easy to get at and easy to adjust.

All rear projection Samsung TVs gather moisture around the focus connection,on the Cathode Ray Tubes. There are unconnected wires with no labels. This is very confusing and possibly a danger if connected up can ruin the picture tubes.

Very poor customer service that will take you to great depths of frustration.

Can't remember

Bought the TV 01/09/04 and it packed it in 5 months later.Two moths later still trying to sort out refunded with Samaung.

Clearly a faulty product and Samsung doesn't want to know about it! Love to hear from other Samsung rear projection TV owners with similar problems

Good Picture quality and Sound

Samsung Rear projection TV's are crap for reliability Bought one just before Syndey Olympics Tube when in it within 9 months sent to samsung returned 2 months later repaired Luckily bought extended warranty with Harvey Norman as 10 months later it did...
