Busted screen on arrival

 

I'll be RMAing this. It was a nice deal at the time, I hope availability will be there when I'm able to complete my RMA request. It's my personal opinion that more reinforcement in the frontal screen area of the product packaging could have prevented...

Well, it looked like it might have been a decent TV. Product design was ok.

Never got to find out the quality of the screen, speakers or anything else. The center upper section of the screen was cracked/busted on arrival. This isn't a huge surprise considering the very thin and unprotected design of how it's packaged and shipped.

Broken right out of the box. Refunding

 

Inexpensive

Cheap. Broken out of the box, only half the screen worked (50/50 vertical split). Going to refund. W*lm*rt has it cheaper anyway and return policy is little easier even if I have to pay tax.

Very nice TV

 

Newegg processed a return/replacement for me on this... the first unit showed up with a perfectly round, baseball-sized impact "punched" in the screen. The weird thing was that the packaging didn't show any obvious signs of damage... Anyway, they...

This is my first VIZIO. So far, I'm very impressed. Great TV at a modest price. I've had Sony and LG previously, and would look to VIZIO first for my next upgrade. It's a no frills TV but the panel is sharp, vibrant and fast. OOTB the colors seem fine...

I guess I can conjure up a little dissatisfaction about the remote. The layout doesn't seem great and the power button doesn't have the kind of blatant obviousness that I prefer. Probably just more reason to finally invest in a good universal and earn...
