Vizio's big-time LED TV value

 

Solid picture quality, style and features make the massive Vizio E701i-A3 a great big-screen buy.

The ; is an outstanding value as the least expensive LED TV of its size that also offers Smart TV. Its picture boasts highly accurate color and very good bright-room performance. Plenty of Smart TV content is on hand within a responsive interface, and...

The E1i-A3's picture can't match the black-level performance of some competing LED TVs, and suffers from some uniformity issues. Its Smart TV interface design seems a bit dated and cumbersome.

The Vizio E701i-A3 is the best value yet among 70-inch LED TVs.

Vizio E701I-A3

 

Vizio's E-series of LED HDTVs offer large screens with built-in Wi-Fi, plenty of online features, and good picture quality, all for a very fair price.

Inexpensive for its size. Very bright. Built-in Wi-fi.

Not that energy efficient for an LED HDTV. Modest black levels. Colors run slightly cool.

Easy to navigate on screen menu system, 1 button press Amazon/Netflix/Web sites and it's real easy to setup accounts, TV remote has a keyboard on the back for entering info on Web pages - there is an onscreen keyboard as well, Price vs. other brands.

Viewing angle varies when viewed greater than 30 degrees off center, You need to Download PDF manual as only a quick start manual is included, The provided stand is not the sturdiest.

CNET's over-all rating of this 70" Vizio was pretty accurate save for the following 2 observations. While at Cotsco over the weekend I got a chance to see this set along side the 70" Sharp 6 series (non-quattron & 120hz) and Sharp's top of the line 8...

PRICE,PRICE, & PRICE! Great picture with "very thin bezel" for getting more tv for the money.

not a one! don't see how Vizio is able to sell such a stunningly beautiful,featured-loaded set for that price!

Great Price, Very Good Picture Quality after adjusting settings, Great Blacks and 4 HDMI imputs. Great for Blue Ray DVD's Very Thin Profile Qwerty Keyboard remote.
