Waterlogged at 10 months

 

I noticed in my software that the camera was flickering and shorting out, so I went to check/change it out with another camera. The camera was about 10 ft in the air on the side of a building. When I took this camera down, I noticed water trapped...

Decent picture ; Worked pretty good while it worked ; Concealed cabling, so a pair of scissors won't be able to cut the dangling wires

After 10 months there was about quarter of an inch of water inside the camera

GOOD camera, not great

 

This camera image quality is actually a little bit less than the Aposonic A-E650 650 TV Lines MAX Resolution Sony unit that I got first. I put this one on my driveway facing the road and my two vehicles The E650 unit provides a better picture for...

Cost, under 100$ is good. Camera mounting is easy, swivel base allows precise adjustment. Lens hood, works good during daytime hours

Camera image quality is not HI-RES as it states on the description. It does well during the daytime, however it will not provide any detail like license plates beyond the typical residential driveway
