i was cheated me

it sounded good

I received a knockoff, the product I ordered was from X-Gene, instead I received a key board fro DSI which is not on the manufacturer's contact list the key board I received is the most frustrating key board I have ever dealt wit, it lacks the most...

Just what I needed

Overall very satisfied with it. Curious how long the batteries last.

Very comfortable and the layout is excellent. Goes to 'sleep' to help battery life

Nintendo Game Cube controller look and feel to it? Not really a con, but if you go look at your old controller, the plastic on this is very similar. Just kinda cheap

Nice, Compact and Durable

Some other reviewers mentioned the fact that the unit doesn't respond after periods of non-use. This is because it goes into a power-saving mode after about 10 minutes of non-use. One click of the left mouse button wakes it right up and its then ready...

This little wireless keyboard was the perfect choice for my new HTPC setup ; Although the feel of the keyboard isn't ideal for word processing, it works fine for the limited typing that accompanies organizing media files ; The trackball is great, my...

It uses four AA batteries. Time will tell as to how long they last

Nifty solution!

This product is great! There is but a *single* flaw, which I will get to in 'Cons.' The keyboard is a good shape, conducive to holding and using as a two handed track ball, and typing on it is rather easy, even in your lap. It's not terribly heavy, but...

The single flaw, in my estimation, is the battery cover needs to be a little more beefy in it's retention latch. I broke it right off first thing. As it's not a huge deal, I just used some duct tape to affix the cover. Nobody minds, or even notices....

Good product if yours works

3 of these keyboards were bought at different times. The first one (July 2006) seemed fine but the mouse pointer would sometimes stick in one place for a moment. The next 2 (November 2006) were fine; later on one of the keyboards wouldn't register a...

One of the few wireless RF keyboards with a trackball built in. Scroll wheel and a right-handed left click button in addition to the buttons on the left. Useful hotkeys. Setup is simple: plug in the receiver, push the button on the receiver, and then...

Keyboard is somewhat cramped, and layout takes some getting used to. May be some quality issues with this product (see below)

had 2 of these, problems with both.

if it didn't have fatal flaws, the compact, well-contoured shape would be great

I've gone through 2 of these. The first one, the mouse buttons got too loose after a few months to register, plus all the rubber feet came off the keyboard in days. The second one, none of the number keys register. No, it's not a problem with number...

I would buy it again

I bought this keyboard for a new HTPC, and I am using it right now to type this review. It rarely misses key strokes and I have been using it for 2 weeks now without fresh batteries (this is one of the things I was worried about). The hot keys are a...

Takes a little getting used to the smaller layout, especially in the lower right corner, where the shift and arrow keys are right next to each other. Need to proof read your stuff. While I like the feel of the letter keys the mouse keys on the left...

Hands down better than the last three!

You can't go wrong for the price! Over 6 mos later and mine still runs like new.

This is a great keyboard for the money! This is my fourth wireless mouse integrated keyboard. Previously I had owned all IR technology. What a pain compared to RF! This unit although made of plastic is built solidly enough for continous use. We use...

There is no indicator for Num lock etc. When using rechargeable NIMH batteries this keyboard really drains them quick

stopped after a day

If it stops working you seem to be on your own.

Great concept. I want a small keyboard with trackball builtin. Guess I'll have to keep looking

Worked a day and stopped. Spec Research help site seems to be dead also. Email returned. No info no product

Cheapo

The idea behind this setup is exactly what I want in my living room for my htpc and I would gladly pay double the price for a soild well built unit with the same features.

Trackball seems to work decent so far

Very cheaply built, very flimsy plastic. Arrived with one of the rear screwmounta already broken and half the keys were loose in the box, not even in the keyboard. Good for hunt and peck typing but loses keystrokes if you try to go to fast. Range...
