Cooler Master GX 650W Power Supply Review

After having my power supply died a few weeks back, I finally have a replacement PSU.

[H]ard|ocp did a thorough test on the GX 650 and it wasn't good. My take is that while it failed load tests, it is still cheaper (about RM 340) than many other brands (around RM 400, and above) for 650w PSU and it should be fine for general usage.

Cooler Master GX 650W Power Supply Review

Cooler Master is breaking new maketing ground this time around with a "Gamer Xtreme" PSU at 650 watts. Marketing aside, it is packing a 52 amp single rail and a 5 year warranty, so maybe all is not lost on kitschy sales speak. Gag me with a spoon.
