Great (while they last)

 

We have 7 registers that use these scanners, indoor and outdoor. Most have held up well, some 1 year, some going on 3-4 years. It depends on how well you treat them. We have to replace a couple every year, but it's worth it to us.

Very sturdy yet very lightweight. Decent scan range up to about a foot. Easy installation, plug and play with Vista/XP. Quite customizable, with a whole book of codes to scan that change settings. Very convenient for scanning large items that require...

Just two things, but big ones... 1) They are expensive 2) After a year or two they begin to wear out. They stop charging on the cradle. Sometimes you can clean the metal charging contacts, and they will charge again for a while. Cold temperatures...

Worth the Cost

 

I had been replacing wired scanners left and right as cables broke and scanners were dropped. These should last at least 10 times longer, actually saving money in the long run.

Lightweight, fast, reliable. USB/Bluetooth works great

The shape is not the most ergonomic. Some rubberized grips would be nice

Symbol might have better quality and better documentation. But it costs a *lot* more.

Reliable scanning. BlueTooth wireless is really convenient

For some reason, ~1% UPC barcodes are not recognized by this scanner. This model does not have memory chip for inventory mode, which allows you scan inventory in batch without communicating with the base / PC
