Acer's Chromebook R 11 is an inexpensive tablet-laptop hybrid, coupling the simplicity of Google's Chrome OS with a 360-degree hinge and touchscreen.
Unfortunately, Chrome OS isn't optimized for touch, and navigating around the browser with your finger can be tricky. There aren't as many apps available for Google's Chrome OS as you'll find on Microsoft's Windows or Apple's OS X.
Acer's Chromebook R 11 has a neat hybrid design and the price is right, but simpler, non-touch devices offer better value.

Acer Chromebook R11 review: Extraordinary value and features
Chromebooks have come a long way and with the addition of Android apps, the Acer Chromebook R11 is very worth considering.
Solid build quality, nice and responsive screen, ChromeOS is maturing and can run Android apps.
The white color could get dirty easier.
If you’re looking for a Chromebook in this price range, or even one up to $400, the Acer Chromebook R11 is a solid choice and is one of the first to run Android apps in the stable channel as well.
