A water sealed keyboard and Gorilla Glass screen for around £500
Hard-wearing exterior ; Great keyboard ; Impressive battery life ; Rapid Core i5 processor ; Versatile specifications and options
Terrible screen ; Tinny speakers ; Heavy, thick design ; More expensive than rivals
The Latitude is no media laptop, so that means poor speakers. Bass is almost entirely absent, and the mid-range lacks depth – music and games sound crushed together. The high-end is far too tinny. There’s a surprising amount of volume, but that doesn’t...

XPS-styled notebook is in a (business) class of its own
Thin and light ; Tactile keyboard ; Great port selection
Core M only ; Pricey ; Unusual webcam position
With a compact chassis, excellent keyboard and great build quality, the Latitude 13 7370 is the Windows laptop to take on the road. It's not exactly a powerhouse thanks to Intel's Core M chip inside, so don't expect it to be the fastest business brain...

A notebook-style, 2-in-1 hybrid for business users
Gorgeous looks ; excellent security ; decent performance
Too heavy ; limited screen flexibility ; questionable physical endurance
Dell's business class products are hit or miss. Unfortunately this is a miss. It looks great, performs decently, and is a secure device. However, its hybrid-design limitations, heft and accessory requirements make for a pedestrian device.

The Dell Latitude 13 Education Series is a tough desktop-replacement laptop with a battery that lasts 10 hours. It should be on the top of your shopping list for the upcoming back-to-school season.

The Dell Latitude 13 ultraportable laptop inspires technolust when you first pick it up. It's sleek, it has a great keyboard, and it weighs less than 3.5 pounds without the power brick. The LED-backlit display looks pretty good for most desktop chores....
Great keyboard for getting work done ; Thin and light, with a sleek appearance
Could use more USB ports ; Battery life severely limited
Dell's Latitude 13 is an elegant-looking ultraportable with a great keyboard, but limited expandability and poor battery life are significant drawbacks.
Avis d'expert par : Cisco Cheng (pcmag.com)
The Dell Latitude 13 is a razor thin business laptop that will exceed your design and typing expectations, but don't expect too much from the tiny battery.
Exquisitely thin. Sturdy. Fantastic keyboard and mouse buttons. Fairly priced. Fast hard drive. SSD available. Better-than-expected feature set.
Small battery yielded paltry battery life. Battery is non-removable. Performance hampered by a low-powered, aging processor. No HDMI or DisplayPort.

Dell pegs the Latitude 13 as an ultrathin business laptop. We think its understated slimline looks will in fact appeal to anyone looking for a well-made near-ultraportable weighing under 1.6kg.
More performance and features can be found for the same money elsewhere. It's far from being a speed demon, but it's quick enough for regular admin work. The Dell Latitude 13 stands out more for its slim profile, low weight yet still sturdy build.

With a Gorilla Glass screen, ruggedised chassis and a huge battery, the Latitude 13 is suitable for use in schools
Tough exterior, Excellent keyboard, Long-lasting battery, Strong performance, Versatile
Disappointing screen, Bulky design
