At $35, the new WeMo Mini is competitively priced, and the smaller design won't block adjacent outlets. Native compatibility with IFTTT, Google Home, and Amazon's Alexa make it one of the most well-connected smart plugs you can buy.

WeMo gear won't work with Apple HomeKit (or with Siri), and the WeMo app is still woefully glitchy at times.

WeMo's always been a solid smart home starting point, and at just $35, the WeMo Mini is the line's best offering yet.
