Gyration Air Mouse

Free your mouse from the desktop When you're working with a laptop on the move, using a proper mouse is more comfortable than using the laptop's trackpad. That usually depends on having a surface ...

Perfect for XBMC

This remote, along with most you find out there, is designed to work with Windows Media Center Edition. I was looking for something to be used with XBMC. Most of the functions on the remote work with XBMC right out of the box. For those that don't, you...

You can find the keyboard combo that goes with this for about 90 bucks.

This remote is a perfect addition to the HTPC. It tracks extremely well, though you will want to replace the batteries it comes with almost immediately. The list of compatible devices is small, BUT you can program any button with the IR receiver on the...

Batteries it comes with are not good. You will also need to mount the RF receiver in clear LOS of the remote

No Mouse is actually included

If you don't actually need an actual mouse and your cursor control needs are fairly minimal, then the in-air gyro-remote will do the trick. I was looking for an actual mouse and keyboard and remote, and I found the way this was advertised on here a bit...

I've been happy with a full sized keyboard and Gyration Mouse. This was my second purchase

There's not actually a mouse in this set. The Remote is supposedly an "In-air cursor control

I have other Gyration products it is an excellent brand and would recomend any Gyration hardware, for Office, gaming, internet, home. Never Had an issue.

True PnP on xp and vista 32bit and 64bit. Works perfect with Mediea center, power dvd component and main volume, as well as many others. Excellent Mouse Control(although wouldnot replace mouse) but I use it as only mouse. Also can program for tv,dvd and...

Awesome remote

Essential for an HTPC.

Fantastic for any Media Center. I use the remote 90% of the time, and use the keyboard sparingly. Easy to program, though I wish there were more logical buttons to program... particularly for a Home Theater Receiver. The range is great, and since it...

The mouse buttons work fine, but start to lose their tactile feel. The right click now feels spongy. Tech support responded quickly, and I'm in the process of doing an RMA. Hopefully they've improved the product

Fancy Mouse in a Cheap Remote

I gave the Product 5 eggs for the mouse and keyboard function, 1 egg for the remote, so the average was 3 eggs. If it was just the mouse and keyboard it'd be a nice working, good looking product. But I was trying to use it for my Home Theater setup...

The gyration air technology is by far one of the coolest things that have surface for mice and pointer devices in last 10 years. The ability to move your pointer around simply by swinging the remote is very easy and intuitive, almost as intuitive as...

The universal remote feature is pretty much worthless. It's a very basic off the shelf universal remote like the ones you buy for 10 bucks at a big box store, you have to input device codes, which are way out of date and they don't have current...

Less amazing than first thought

Weak IR transmitter: while I was able to program it to operate my RCA DirecTiVo no problem, I really have to carefully aim the remote at the TiVo to make it work from 10 feet away. The original TiVo remote works fine no matter where I point it, no...

See my previous review for Pros... this follow-up is all about the cons. I gave this review 3 stars to make a 4 star average. It's a great product, with some shortcomings. Given that it appears to be a one-of-a-kind product, it's not too bad. Hopefully...

Like the other reviewers here who had trouble with programming their Onkyo remote codes, I have had no success with my Denon AV receiver. The only pre-programmed remote code that worked at all (out of over 20 for denon!) didn't operate the volume or...

This is to be the remote for my (as yet unbuilt) HTPC, but in the interim the mouse control function will be used to facilitate watching shows from HULU on my TV. Since it will replace my current TiVo remote today, the future switch to an HTPC while...

Wow, this thing is amazing. I admit I have never used an 'air mouse' before (nor similar devices like the wiimote), but for me the wow factor is just stunning. You plug in the receiver, hit 'connect' on both, and it just works! Move the remote, and the...

The only con I can see is compared to some other learning remotes, it doesn't have Macros. My current remote turns on both my TV and my Amp with one button... but I'll gladly trade that for the mouse cursor control. (I'll try tricking it by having it...

great remote

Great remote. Easy to configure, works with all my equipment. Got it mostly for the mouse and love it.

After a year the mouse sensor chip died. Called the vendor and they offered a replacement. But by that time I got my new remote from newegg.
